Mobile Lyme publishes practical, well-researched articles about smartphones, accessories and mobile technology. If you can explain a phone-related topic clearly and accurately, we would love to hear from you.
Topics we accept
- Smartphone buying advice, comparisons and upgrade guides
- Cases, screen protectors, mounts, audio and other accessories
- Charging: USB-C, wireless and MagSafe, power banks, car charging
- Phone care: battery health, cleaning, repairs and maintenance
- Mobile tips and how-tos: settings, privacy, security, productivity, photography
- Mobile networks, SIM-only plans and eSIM explained for UK readers
What we look for
| Length | 800–1,500 words. Longer in-depth guides are welcome if every section earns its place. |
|---|---|
| Originality | 100% original and unpublished elsewhere. No spun or bulk AI-generated text; we check. |
| Style | UK English, plain language, short paragraphs and descriptive subheadings (H2/H3). |
| Accuracy | Facts and specifications must be correct and current. Link to sources where helpful. |
| Images | Optional. Send only images you own or that are licensed for reuse, with credits. |
| Author bio | One or two sentences, plus one optional link to your own site or profile. |
Link policy
- Up to 1–2 dofollow links per article, placed naturally in the body or author bio.
- Links must be relevant to the article and point to genuinely useful pages.
- No exact-match keyword stuffing, link lists or links to low-quality sites.
- We may add
rel="sponsored"to commercial links, and we reserve the right to edit or remove any link.
What we do not accept
We will not publish content about, or linking to, casino, gambling or betting, adult content, CBD, cannabis or vaping, pharmaceuticals or prescription drugs, crypto get-rich-quick schemes, payday loans, or anything illegal or misleading. Articles that are thinly disguised adverts will be declined.
How to pitch
- Email [email protected] with the subject line “Guest post pitch”.
- Include two or three headline ideas with a sentence on each, and a link to something you have written before.
- Once we agree a topic, send the finished article as a Google Doc or Word file.
We aim to reply to pitches within a week. We edit all articles for clarity, accuracy and house style, and we may decline a piece that does not meet these guidelines.
